The Babylon Projekt is an Italian music project duo formed in Summer 2015 by two cousins, Denny Zeta and Ilaria Binatti.
Denny is a great music expert and LP collector at 360 degrees since his youth. He learned how to play music by himself. He is also involved in another music project duo, the Bara Foetida, with his cousin Triplax Vermifrux, with whom created about 150 instrumental songs by using different kind of alternative instrument and devices, influenced by music genres like dark wave and psychedelic rock. By the way, the meeting with Ilaria gave him the impulse to form a new music project.

Ilaria comes from a more commercial music culture. Since her childhood, she enjoyed writing poems and lyrics. She took music and piano lessons in her youth, but she got tired very soon, because she was more interested in singing rather than in playing, but she was too shy to take singing lessons. She never told anyone about her passion until the meeting with Denny.

Thanks to the precious support of their friends, they unified their passion, creativity, talents and efforts, and created the Babylon Projekt. On October 20th 2015 they recorded their first two songs in studio, “Sono un DJ”, released on November 15th, and “Listen to my radio”.
Their main music genre is electronic, influenced by genres like reggae, pop, dark, and many others. Their love for music has no boundaries, so they don’t want to follow only one specific genre, and the lyrics of their tracks are in several languages.
They estimate the release of their debut album in Spring 2016.

I Babylon Projekt sono un music project duo italiano formato da due cugini, Denny Zeta ed Ilaria Binatti, nell’estate 2015.
Denny è un grande esperto di musica e collezionista di LP a 360° fin dalla sua giovinezza. Ha imparato a suonare musica da autodidatta. Egli è anche impegnato in un altro project duo, i Bara Foetida, insieme al cugino Triplax Vermifrux, col quale ha creato circa 150 canzoni strumentali utilizzando diversi tipi di strumenti alternativi e apparecchi, influenzate da generi musicali come il dark wave e il rock psichedelico. Tuttavia, l'incontro con Ilaria gli ha dato l'impulso per formare un nuovo progetto musicale.

Ilaria proviene da una cultura musicale più commerciale. Fin dall’infanzia si divertiva a scrivere poesie e testi di canzoni. Ha preso lezioni di musica e pianoforte da adolescente, ma se n’è stancata molto presto, poiché era più interessata a cantare che a suonare, ma era troppo timida per prendere lezioni di canto. Non ha mai raccontato a nessuno della sua passione fino al suo incontro con Denny. Grazie al prezioso sostegno dei loro amici, hanno unito la loro passione, la creatività, il talento e gli sforzi, ed hanno creato i Babylon Projekt. Il 20 ottobre 2015 hanno registrato in studio i loro primi due brani, “Sono un DJ”, uscito il 15 novembre, e “Listen to my radio”.

Il loro genere principale è l’elettronica, influenzato da generi come il reggae, il pop, il dark e molti altri. Il loro amore per la musica non ha confini, tanto da non voler seguire un solo genere specifico, e i testi delle loro canzoni sono in varie lingue.
Stimano di pubblicare il loro album di debutto nella primavera del 2016.
